CoaguChek® systems are easy to use

The CoaguChek XS system is the third generation of CoaguChek systems, a convenient, portable and user-friendly system dedicated to patients.
It enables you to monitor (measure) your coagulation (PT/INR) status at home, usually upon a prescription from your treating healthcare professional and after a short training.
This reduces the time that you spend in hospitals, general practices or at anticoagulation clinics, allowing you more independence, freedom and an improved quality of life.

When used with a CoaguChek XS sytem, the recently launched (2008) CoaguChek XS Connect, a simple yet powerful device which you can connect to a computer and will read the data from your CoaguChek XS system, helps you to store, print or e-mail your results (last one or several ones over time) and trends over time .

INR Self-Monitoring with the CoaguChek XS system and the support of the CoaguChek XS Connect device means that anticoagulant therapy can be constantly optimized, which decreases the possibility of potential bleeding or clotting complications.
